Influence of Seed Treated by Plasma Activated Water on the Growth of Lactuca sativa L.

The aim of this work was to determine if PAW (Plasma Activated Water) seed treatment and growing conditions could have positive effects on lettuce seedlings growth. paper presents the results a pot experiment (Lactuca sativa L.) cultivation in greenhouse field after with PAW. conducted two consecutive seasons 2021 2022 following growth parameters were measured: head mass, rosette height, width, number leaves, root mass length. As result study, it found that lettuces grown from treated seeds had higher first measurement for both cultivars (mass 32.26%, diameter 19.01%, leaves 13.49% height 24.01%), while there no statistically significant system. lowest obtained untreated field-grown plants. In addition, plant dry matter measured plants percentage (11.51% 2021, 11.58% 2022). It also resulted better quality than open field.
